The adopter agrees to have the dog/cat spayed/neutered no later than the age of five (5) months and provide Friends of Animals Rice County proof of alter from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
- Includes: spay/neuter, rabies vac, distemper/parvo vac, bordetella vac, heartworm test (if >6mo old), deworming and microchip implantation with enrollment. Flea/tick treatment if needed.
- Decision for placement will be made based on an interview with the prospective family and personality compatibility between the animal and family.
- After adoption, the health, welfare, and continued care of the animal become the sole responsibility of the adopter. Adoption releases Friends of Animals Rice County, Inc., from further responsibility or liability for any illness, injury, or damage which the animal may cause to any person or property.
